Ready To Serve! We all have abilities and want to make a difference with what God has given. God has gifted us each with a custom gift, and we are to use these gifts through the church. At NLCC we believe we are never more like Jesus than when we serve!
BIBLE STUDY
Growing through an in-depth review of the scriptures, learning to apply the Bible to our individual lives and the modern day church. Lead by Dr. Charles A. McKinney, Pastor once a month on Sunday after worship service. Please inquire to find out exact date.
EVANGELISM MINISTRY
Reaching souls for Christ through community outreach, social media, and media, and inviting friends and family to a new life in Christ. Lead by Rev. Sharon A. Banks
MEN’S MINISTRY
Providing opportunities to fellowship, grow, support, and mentor men and boys toward victorious living. Lead by Min. Leon Lawrence.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Following the lead of the Holy Spirit to provide sacred music and encourage full participation in praise and worship. Lead by Sis. Mary Carman.
NURSING HOME MINISTRY
Visiting residents of area nursing homes to spread the gospel, offer Communion and opportunities to worship. Lead by Deacon Wesley Helvey
SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRY
Developing disciples through age appropriate, relevant study of the scriptures, background information and real life examples. Small group sessions provide tools for powerful living. Lead by Sis. Carolyn McKinney.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Addressing felt needs, encouraging women to appreciate their true value, support each other, and walk in their God-given destiny. Ministry highlights include the annual Women’s Weekend and Hat & Purse Auction. Lead by Sis. Bobbi Benton.
YOUTH MINISTRY
Building Christian youth through life skill development, educational attainment, exposure to new horizons, and community service. Lead by Min. Ansong Karikari.
